Study of First Nations Women Spring Course

Posted on Jan 11, 2013

Are you interested in knowing more about the incredible influences of Native American Women? Study of First Nations Women is being offered this spring 2013.

Here is what one student had to say about some of her understandings while taking FNS 460 The Study of First Nations Women.

"The story of Oona being born was very interesting. The connections I made with this book and previous readings is the way that the Ojibwe people were forced out of their homes and villages and the struggles they had to endure because of these hardships; they did so with respect and integrety. It says a lot about the Native American culture. This reading also showed me how young Ojibwe  women were raised to have such a high level of respect and knowledge for the Ojibwe culture, which I think is great!"

If you want to understand more the amazing influences of Native American Women then please consider enrolling in the course for spring semester 2013.
