Mission

The mission of the Health and Human Interests area of the Center for Continuing Education is to provide education about health and other areas of human interest to meet the needs of residents of northwest Wisconsin and beyond. We provide education for professionals in health, human and elder services that includes CEU's and often CME credit as well. We provide on-going education for members of the community to enhance health, well-being and personal growth, with special attention to the needs of the fastest growing segment of our population – people 65 and older. In addition to our conferences, workshops, forums and other events, we are available to develop customized programs to meet the needs of specific groups and to provide coordination and on-line registration for events hosted or sponsored by other organizations.

We value your suggestions for programs, topics, speakers, venues and more. We need input from the communities we serve in order to achieve our mission. If you are interested in serving as a community advisor or just sharing your ideas with us, please email Esther Gieschen, Program Manager, at egiesche@uwsuper.edu.
