At the 11th annual Northwood's Diabetes Conference participants will learn steps they can take to buck that trend.

During the morning sessions, professionals will learn about new and better options for treatment, recent research in the field, and proven prevention programs they can offer their patients.

During the afternoon sessions, professionals and community members will learn about ethnic differences in risks and outcomes, revised nutrition recommendations and new evidence-based programs for self-management.
