Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies Throughout the Second Half of Life

When: Mar 6, 2014 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM
A full day conference focused on increasing independence, function and quality of life for older adults and others at risk.

Overview

Participants in this conference will learn many strategies for increasing independence, function and quality of life for older adults. Most older adults want to continue to live in their own homes for as long as possible; as independently as possible. Becoming hospitalized is often the first step to loss of independence and the need for relocation. Proactive steps can be taken to reduce the chances of hospitalization. These steps and more will be addressed by the seven presenters at this eighth annual conference.
