The function of the Professional Educator Certification Officer is to validate that a UW-Superior student has completed a certification program in accordance with Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction guidelines for licensure.  The Certification Officer also validates the completion of professional educator programs for certification in other states. 

Students interested in admission into a certification program should contact the Admissions Office for Elementary or Secondary Education and the Graduate Studies Office for Educational Administration, Guidance Counseling, Library Science, Reading, and Special Education for program information and requirements:
