Faculty and Staff Details
Dr. Maria Stalzer Wyant Cuzzo is Professor of Legal Studies in the Department of Politics, Law and Justice. She is also the Academic Advisor for the Paralegal Studies and Mediation/Conflict Resolution certificate programs through UW-Superior Continuing Education and Extension. A former attorney and current mediator, Dr. Cuzzo has been at UW-Superior for fifteen years. She served as an OPID Faculty Scholar representing UW-Superior and has been involved in OPID activities. Dr. Cuzzo served on the Task Force for CETL in 2006 and was appointed the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) in 2007. Her duties include coordinating and directing UW-Superior's CETL to provide opportunities for faculty and academic teaching staff to enhance their teaching and learning practices. CETL coordinates workshops, conferences, new faculty orientation sessions, book clubs, faculty conversations series, instructional technology development and facilitates UW-Superior's involvement with OPID and UW-System opportunities.
