Office of the Chancellor
One year after the flood, we had a tornado, well an imaginary one anyway. This afternoon was spent in conjunction with the city and the county in a table-top exercise and test of our emergency response. In the exercise, an imaginary tornado blew out windows in Ross and Hawkes, power was out, and we had to work with community partners including the Red Cross and Superior Power Water and Light on how to handle the aftermath. We certainly had learned some valuable lessons from the flood that we were ready to apply!
