Distance Learning Center - UW-Superior

Welcome to UW-Superior and the Distance Learning Center. We're grateful that you've decided to pursue your degree through our university. With more than 30 years of experience in working with learners outside the campus, we're ready to help you reach for your goals.

You'll find there are people here you'll get to know well, even though you may never meet them face to face. Your advisor will be one of these, and I encourage you to communicate early and often about your program and courses. Your advisor can also answer questions about campus services, processes, and procedures.

The staff in the Distance Learning Center are dedicated to your success. Don't hesitate to contact us through the toll-free number (1-877-528-6597) or by sending an e-mail when you have a question or need.

You'll meet a variety of instructors as you progress through your program. They're all familiar with working with people like you, both from their experience in teaching through the Distance Learning Center, and in their regular classrooms. In fact, UW-Superior has the highest percentage of adult learners in the UW System - almost 30 percent of our enrollments.

As you go through your program, I want to encourage you to take advantage of your learning opportunities. What you learn from the course content will be valuable, but you'll also learn from your professors and your classmates.

If you happen to visit Superior, we would love to have you stop by the Distance Learning Center to say hello, see the campus, and perhaps drop in on your favorite professor. We hope you'll cheer the Yellowjackets, and make plans to attend commencement when you complete your program.

It's great to have you as a UW-Superior student, and it will be even better to see you as a UW-Superior graduate. Best wishes as you begin your pathway to your degree.
