Do you wonder what instructors are doing in their Distance Learning Courses? Have you thought about incorporating new tools into your course to help enrich the course experience? Now's your chance! We're ending the semester with a course tour by Kristen Lindquist!
 
Kristen will walk through her course and the Web 2.0 tools she uses to enhance her course content and connect with students. In addition, she'll demonstrate how to:
 
· Set up an education account and create a presentation (embed video, pictures, etc.) in Prezi, a fantastic tool for dynamic presentations.
 
· Create screencasts using Camtasia and Jing, which will enable you to record lectures, publish them, and post them in D2L.
 
· Use an amazing tool called Voice Thread, which can enable dynamic course discussions and alternative approaches to a standard lecture.
 
Take advantage of this opportunity to get some ideas and a head start on next semester's classes!  The session will be interactive, helping you to work with these new tools and illustrating how you can incorporate them into your courses!
