The stores department is responsible for shipping and receiving packages and supplies according to established guidelines. This department works with others to facilitate the return of damaged/duplicate goods and supplies. Departments should use the Duplicate/Damaged Returned Goods Authorization form when returning items. This form serves as a record for tracking returned goods.
Central Stores coordinates deliveries of packages with the mailroom staff and very large and heavy items with the grounds department.
Stores also maintains the paper goods inventory which includes assorted copy papers, letterhead and various envelopes and mailers.
This department is responsible for much of the custodial, grounds and trades ordering adhering to all state procurement guidelines while doing so. Stores maintains a comprehensive inventory of custodial and maintenance supplies which are delivered to requisitioning departments on a daily basis.
Stores also maintains a file of past and present MSDS sheets for products they stock. An online file of current product MSDS's can be accessed from the tab above or by visiting the site map.
