Graduate Student Scholarships

A scholarship is a cash gift award based on the criteria set by the giving organization or donor. You do not repay a scholarship. UW-Superior Foundation Inc. offers the following scholarships for graduate students - check each scholarship individually for information on eligibility and application. These scholarships are administered by a scholarship committee independent of the Financial Aid Office. Most scholarships are awarded annually in the spring and distributed at the beginning of each academic year; amounts vary. To apply for the following scholarships, obtain an application from your department chair, have a faculty member write a supporting statement, and return the form to the department chair for final review and approval. For entering graduate students who may not know their department chair, contact the Graduate Studies office for that information.
