UWS's First Nations Center congratulates senior Terry Schultz, recipient of the 2014 Native American Scholarship award, announced at the 2014 Johnson Open.

The First Nations Center held another successful Johnson Open Golf Tournament at Nemadji Golf Course in Superior, WI.  We had approximately 60 participants and raised over to $3,000 for the American Indian Scholarship Fund.

Terry, a senior from Proctor, MN, will graduate with an Individually Designed Major with an emphasis in First Nations Studies.  He has been active in the Circle of Native Nations, attended the October 2013 National Indian Education Association's annual conference and is currently an EMT/firefighter with the Proctor Fire department.
