Starting spring semester, transfer students are invited to attend the new Transfer Tuesdays program, designed specifically to meet the needs of transfer students. Transfer Tuesdays are a series of events, informational sessions and fun activities held at noon, which will highlight specific areas of campus and university life!  

Transfer Tuesdays also allow students to connect with other transfer students and give feedback for better serving their needs.

While Transfer Tuesdays are designed to meet the unique needs of students who transferred to UW-Superior, all students are able to attend.

Spring 2013 Schedule

January 22: Involvement

Come meet Ann Miller, Allison Gerland, and other students currently engaged in involvement activities on campus. Any and all questions about involvement or campus in general are encouraged. There will also be free giveaways and candy!

January 29: Career Services

Kathy Pykkonen, Director of Career Services will provide information about the importance of getting professional experience while still in school. Come learn about how you can do this before you graduate. Students can also find out information about preparing for the upcoming Job Fair and why you should attend, whether you are graduating soon or not.

February 12: Nontraditional and Veteran Services

Staff members from the Veteran and Nontraditional Student Center will open their doors to students to learn about the Center and the variety of services available to make you successful at UW-Superior

February 26: Diversity, Inclusion and Equity

Come join Ivy Vaino, Chip Beal, and Gary Johnson from the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the First Nations Center to talk about the topics of diversity, inclusion and equity.

March 12: Advising

Getting ready to register for classes can be stressful. Academic Advisor, Stephanie Monson will be available to answer questions prior to the start of summer and fall course enrollment. She will provide students with important information regarding timely registration and how you can ensure you are on track for graduation

April 2: Graduate School

Students interested in attending Graduate, Professional, Medical or Law School are encouraged to come and learn about what they can do to make them the best applicant. Staff from will be on hand to answer questions regarding Graduate School preparation.

April 16: Sexual Assault Awareness with Gender Equity

Join the Gender Equity Staff for life-sized game of Candy Land in the YU Atrium. 

Since April is Sexual Assault Awareness month Gender Equity will also have information about resources, staying safe, and the services they provide.
