WoW Team Leaders

Team Leaders are current students who have been selected and trained to give you the best possible introduction to UW-Superior. Although UWS is the kind of place that you have to experience for yourself, these fellow students will assist you in navigating the early days when everything is new and unfamiliar. Throughout the WoW programs, each Team Leader meets frequently with the group assigned to them to answer questions and serve as a resource for you.

As the First Year Experience Team, we are dedicated to making your transition to UW-Superior as smooth as possible. We are available to offer guidance and answer questions at any time.

Matthew Fijalkiewicz

My name is Matthew Fijalkiewicz and I am going to be a senior here, at
UW-Superior. I am an Elementary Education major with a minor in special
education. In the future, I hope to teach middle school EBD students. I am a
very personable individual with very wide range of interests and I have yet to
meet an individual I have not gotten along with.

I am Kayla Gibson. I am majoring in Exercise Science with a minor
in Sports Management. One day I hope to be an Athletic Director. I am a member of the UWS women's cross country, track and field, and club hockey teams. I am currently working at SuperOne Foods as a cashier. I am in love with movies :)
