Safe Zone Training - Wed, Mar 13

The campus community is invited to Safe Zone Training on Wedenday, March 13 in the YU Great Room. Through Safe Zone training, potential allies to students who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Bisexual, Queer, and other oppressed sexual and gender identities will :
- connect with other LGBTQ+ advocates on campus
- learn about the sexual identity forming process
- experiences what the barriers are to LGBTQ+ students for higher education
- explore ways to intervene against bullying and harassment
Training can also be tailored to specific groups. Everyone is welcome to attend the training to become a Safe Zone Ally.
