As faculty and staff members, we have the privilege of working closely with students.We work hard to make this University exceptional for our students - a commitment that is greatly valued. We are here not only because of what we bring to the students, but probably as much for what they bring us.

It is in this spirit that we ask you, our colleagues, to join us in supporting the UW-Superior Foundation. Your gift helps further the mission that we all work to fulfill each day. "I had the good fortune to come to UW-Superior in 1994 as a student and be a part of the hockey program for four years.  I played on some great teams and established some friendships that will undoubtedly last a lifetime.  I received both my undergraduate and Master's degrees from here, and the education and experiences UW-Superior provided have afforded me many professional opportunities, including the chance to broadcast sporting events on the radio, which has developed into a passion in my life.  I give to UW-Superior and my family established a scholarship in my father's memory that benefits a student working in radio at KUWS because I want every student who attends this great institution to have the same tremendous, impactful experience and receive the same first-rate education that I did."

"I have worked for this university for 15 years.  For the past 11 years, every month, I have given to the Multicultural Center Fund. With the Multicultural Center Fund, the monies in the past have been used for short term book loans which have helped students of color acquire their textbooks from the bookstore if their financial aid hadn't come in at the beginning of the semester.  The Fund also helps with funding diversity awareness programs on our campus, provides our Multicultural Center with necessary items, and the Office of Multicultural Affairs with other needed services.  Also, years ago, my husband and I put the University into our will by requesting that our endowment goes directly to student of color scholarships.  Both of us know, from experience, the financial struggles/barriers that many students of color face when entering college.  It feels great to give!  Financial giving means that everyone benefits; the students, the programs, the University, and our communities."

"Having worked at UW-Superior for 2 ½  years now, I see a lot of the day to day financial needs of students, faculty, and staff as I work in Residence Life.  I have taken the opportunity to serve as one of the few academic staff members who instruct a First Year Seminar, and have chosen to donate my salary from that educational endeavor to establish and fund a development account in Campus Life.  Within Campus Life are several departments that directly impact the daily experience of UW-Superior students, from programming to student organizations, from residence halls to student health.  With this additional funding, the staff working in Campus Life will be able to provide greater service to meet the increasing needs of our UW-Superior students."
