Two new students and six returning students at the University of Wisconsin-Superior will receive the Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarship.
The scholarships are available to students majoring in business administration, computer science, accounting, finance, or mathematics-actuarial science. Recipients are chosen initially based on placing in the top 15 percent of their high school graduating class and their involvement in extra-curricular activities, community activities, charitable organizations, and other endeavors that indicate significant leadership records and outstanding leadership potential.
The scholarships are renewable for up to four years as long as the recipients maintain a minimum 3.3 cumulative grade point average and continue to pursue a degree in one of the eligible areas of study.
Sentry Insurance, based in Stevens Point, Wis., is one of the largest mutual insurance companies in the United States. This is the sixth year the scholarships have been awarded at UW-Superior.

Samuel Holden of Spooner, Wis., majoring in accounting
Courtney Bartlett of Proctor, Minn., majoring in business administration
