Looking for a fun way to give to the UW-Superior Foundation? The Super Donor Periodic Table is the newest opportunity to support UW-Superior chemistry students, by providing funds for scholarships and equipment.
Simply choose the element you would like to purchase from the list below and send in the Super Donor Periodic Table Pledge Form along with your payment to:

The Chemistry Program also encourages any creative ideas donors may come up with. Some alumni (class of 1995, etc.), for example, might want to buy one element together; another group (or individual alumni) might want to buy a compound, rather than an individual element. (With this latter possibility in mind, chemists even left extra "wall space" beneath their Table in Barstow Hall.)
Dr. Dan Little bought a diradical, trimethylenemethane (TMM), which he says has played a prominent role in his career - starting from his days at Wisconsin State University, Superior. If you wish to buy a compound, feel free to discuss the pricing with us.
The program would also be glad to consider posting separately, on the side wall, dedications accompanying the donations.
Why we Give…
"Lately, our Chemistry and Physics Program has done quite a bit of recruitment, and it shows in increased enrollments. This, in turn, makes it important to raise money for additional instrumentation and scholarships. We came up with the idea of Super Donor Periodic Table to help raise funds, and felt strongly about giving to support it. If a faculty or staff member (or a department) is looking for a "fun" way to support our students as part of the campaign, the Super Donor Periodic Table might be for them!"
Michael A. Waxman, Ph.D.
Professor of Chemistry
Element purchased - Hydrogen (H)
"Through donations to scholarships and equipment funds, talented and hardworking students are provided with opportunities to achieve their goals. I'm proud of the achievements of our graduates and I give because I want to do my small part in keeping these opportunities available for future students."
James Lane
Professor Of Chemistry
