Graduate Studies

UW-Superior is widely known for its Graduate Studies Program. Thousands of teachers, administrators, counselors and other professionals have earned advanced degrees or certificates through our graduate-level education programs. In addition, professionals, businesspeople, artists and many others have earned degrees through our visual arts and communicating arts graduate programs.

UW-Superior's Graduate Studies program offers the following:

  • Master of Arts degree in visual arts and communicating arts.
  • Master of Science in Education degree in educational administration; guidance and counseling; instruction; reading; and special education. The MSE programs in instruction and reading now include new online opportunities.
  • Specialist in Education degree in educational administration. (See EDAD's new website with news about new class scheduling that's more convenient for working educators.)

UW-Superior serves about 300 students in its graduate programs. All graduate programs are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, the counseling program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs (CACREP).
