Adjunct Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (dependent upon qualifications)

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science has an opening for an instructor to teach classes in information technology and systems beginning Fall 2013.

DUTIES::

Teach the following undergraduate course: ITS 230 Introduction to Information Technology and Systems and ITS 335 Web Page Authoring. For the recent course descriptions, please see http://www.uwsuper.edu.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in discipline or related field
  • At least three years of relevant experience

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Master's Degree in discipline or related field
  • Teaching and/or field experience

The successful candidate will be dynamic, energetic, creative, and engaging and demonstrate a commitment to the public liberal arts mission and to quality teaching and learning methods. Willingness and interest in utilizing technology in the classroom and on-line preferred.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the highest ethical standards and demonstrate effective leadership and teamwork skills. Candidates that incorporate values of inclusive excellence and diversity in their work are especially encouraged to apply.
