POSITION:

Outreach Program Manager II (URSCA Program Administrator) (3 yr grant funded position with goals to sustain the program.)

DUTIES:

The Program Administrator of the Center for Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity (URSCA) provides: oversight of the Center and staff, implementation of new initiatives, and coordination of on-going activities in support of the growth and development of related activities on campus and off; collaboration with the URSCA Advisory, campus departments, and research institutes; evaluation and assessment of related programs; representation of URSCA - UW-Superior within UW System and nationally; supervision/mentoring of student personnel; development of a personal research program that includes undergraduate assistance. URSCA is one of UW Superior's 6 Liberal Education High Impact Practices that work together and are integrated into the undergraduate curriculum.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • 3-5 years of experience in URSCA-related activities
  • Evidence of research, scholarship, or creative activities;
  • Experience in program management.
  • Master's degree;

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Experience mentoring undergraduates in URSCA activities;
  • Experience in program assessment and review.
  • Doctorate or Post-Master enrollment.

The successful candidate will be dynamic, energetic, creative, and engaging.The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the public liberal arts mission and must be committed to the highest ethical standards and must demonstrate effective leadership and teamwork skills. SALARY:

The position is 1.0 FTE grant-funded with an annual salary range from $50,000 to $56,000 dependent upon qualifications. UW-S offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance coverage for domestic partners and their eligible dependents.
