IS Resource Support Tech (Website Editor), 50%, Distance Learning Center, Limited Term Employment

SUMMARY:

The University of Wisconsin-Superior is accepting applications for a temporary (Limited Term Employment) IS Resources Support Technician to work within the Distance Learning Center, to begin as soon as possible.Wisconsin residency is required.

JOB DUTIES:

This position will provide website marketing support and social media support for the Distance Learning Center. Implementation will be in keeping with University branding, web, social media and other relevant guidelines/trends.Position collaborates with designated staff to identify and implement changes/opportunities. Secondary to website development and support will be developing and supporting Social Media activity in accordance with University guidelines (examples: Face Book, Google AdWords, Flicker, YouTube, etc). This will include web and social media analytics.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Strong writing/editing skills.Strong personal computer skills.Strong organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working on an organization's website.Experience with social media preferred (including Face Book and Google AdWords).Desirable Qualifications:Knowledge of basic features of web content management system.Willingness and ability to learn the more advanced features of the web content management system.
