There are nine (9) legal holidays at UW-Superior when the University will be closed. They are:

If the legal holiday falls on Saturday, the University will be open on both the previous Friday and the following Monday.  If the legal holiday falls on Sunday, the University will be closed on the following Monday.

In addition to the legal holidays listed above, permanent full-time classified employees and 12-month unclassified employees receive 4.5 additional non-cumulative personal holidays each calendar year (prorated for those with part-time appointments).  Probationary employees are eligible to use personal holidays.  However, if employment is terminated before the probationary period is completed, personal holidays will be prorated and any over use will be taken back.
