HWC Memberships

Students:

All students enrolled in the current semester at UW-Superior are eligible to use the recreational facilities with a valid student ID.  Students may purchase family memberships at the Welcome Desk for $60 a semester, which includes a spouse, or domestic partner, and dependents under the age 18.

UW-Superior Faculty and Staff:
Academic Membership runs from September through May for $120.00.

Annual membership runs from September through August for $160.00. 

UW-Superior employees must purchase a HWC membership in order to gain access to the facility and programs offered by the department. Faculty and staff may purchase a family membership in addition to their own membership at the Welcome Desk for $60 a semester (includes a spouse, or domestic partner, and dependents under the age 18).

Payroll Deduction:

The payroll deduct form is a triplicate form and must be completed in person.  Please pick up and complete the form at the HWC Welcome Desk or request one to be mailed to you intercampus mail and return it prior to September 15th or January 30th.

If you prefer to pay for your membership with cash/check, you can pick up and complete the new duplicate form at the HWC Welcome Desk. You will be provided a copy of your form and a receipt at the time of purchase.


UW-Superior Alumni Cost: $180 for 4-month period.
UWS graduates are eligible to purchase an alumni membership to the Health & Wellness Center. These memberships are prorated on the 1st and 15th of every month. Semesters cover a four-month span.

Community Members Cost: $200 for a 4-month period.
Memberships are available for the public on a semester basis. Semesters cover a four-month span.
Family passes are available for an additional $60 per semester for students and employees.


HWC day passes, Guest Passes and Punch Cards:
HWC day passes, guest passes and punch cards can be purchased at the welcome desk.  HWC day passes are $7, guest passes are $5, with each pass good for one day.  In order to qualify for a guest pass, the individual must be accompanied be a membership holder.  Punch cards are $25 for 5 visits.  Use of the climbing wall or particular group exercise classes would require an additional fee.

Locker Rentals
Lockers are available for rent on the payroll deduction form.  Academic year through May is $20; and Annual rental through August is $30.00.

SOAP memberships:
These memberships may now also be purchased using the payroll deduction form.  They are only available the Academic year through May and the cost is $30.00.
