NCA Implementation Plans
In April 2004 a Faculty Task Force on the Public Liberal Arts Mission recommended that UW-Superior implement five high-priority initiatives to further its mission as Wisconsin's public liberal arts college. These initiatives are:
- Community Service Learning
- First-Year Experience
- Global Awareness
- Senior Experience
- Writing across the Curriculum with Supportive Writing Center
The UW-Superior Faculty Senate endorsed these five recommended initiatives in September 2004. Implementation Groups have completed detailed Implementation Plans for each of the five recommended initiatives. By May 2006 the campus will determine which elements of these Implementation Plans it will adopt.
