21st Century Transportation Systems: Challenges and Opportunities for Academia

When: Mar 13, 2013 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Location: Montague Hall 70, University of Minnesota Duluth.

A forum of five panel members, including retired U.S. Rep. James Oberstar, will address issues with the current U.S. transportation system and the challenges and opportunities for university faculty to contribute to the development of efficient and safe future transportation systems at the local and national level.

The forum is free and open to the public and will take place in Montague Hall 70 at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

This event is sponsored by UMD, Chancellor's Office, Northland Advanced Transportation, System Research Laboratory and the Great Lakes Maritime Research institute, a collaborative effort with UMD and UW-Superior.
