Fitch, an avid tweeter herself is a perfect choice to share her story about how UW-Superior powers her.  Throughout the week she will share her experiences and give followers a look into life at UW-Superior and the adventures of working in residence life on a college campus.  Fitch is an active member of the campus community and works closely with nearly 80 student employees throughout the residence halls.

"I am excited to represent our campus on the @UWpowersMe Twitter account," Fitch said. "It is a great opportunity to bring the entire state of Wisconsin up to our northern corner of the state and share my Superior experience."

Fitch is an alumna of UW-Stevens Point with a degree in psychology and earned her masters at Minnesota State Mankato in counseling and student personnel-college student affairs.  She enjoys the outdoors, fishing, cooking, reading, and is passionate about her career and helping students discover themselves and develop as leaders.

The @UWpowersMe Twitter account allows students, faculty, alumni - even chancellors - the opportunity to take control for one week, telling their UW story as only they can. It is a component of the social media arm of "Knowledge Powers Wisconsin," the campaign that highlights how the UW System powers economic growth in Wisconsin, improving the state's competitive edge by leveraging human capital, supporting business and industry and strengthening local communities.

See UWpowersMe tweets and follow the account and for more information on Knowledge Powers Wisconsin.
