Constitution Day: moot court on gender and affirmative action

When: Sep 19, 2013 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
A Constitution Day Moot Court event hosted by the Pre-Law Society explores issues of gender-based affirmative action at noon Thursday.

Location: Yellowjacket Union, Great Room A

At issue: 1) Whether the University can have an affirmative action program favoring men, and 2) Whether a women's club president can be punished for refusing to have men as members.

Participants are Jon Enright and Kat Heinzen, arguing for the club president, vs. Aaron Jarecki and Cody Chaffee, representing the University.

Don't forget to check out the Educational Display on the Constitution at Jim Dan Hill Library and check out some facts about our Constitution!

Yellowjacket Union is located on the UW-Superior campus, 1605 Catlin Ave. For maps and directions to campus, visit
