Two University of Wisconsin-Superior economists and two students majoring in economics will present research papers at the Wisconsin Economics Association annual conference.
The Wisconsin Economics Association is a non-profit organization that seeks to advance economic knowledge and the economics profession along with maintaining a strong network among economists in Wisconsin and the Midwest. The organization is holding its annual conference Nov. 4-5 in Stevens Point, Wis.

In addition, UW-Superior students Amarachi Okorigbo of Nigeria and Calvin Wing of Hudson, Wis., are attending the conference. Both are majoring in economics.
The Wisconsin Economics Association holds its annual conference for members to exchange ideas, present research and foster collaboration. Conference presentations include professional and faculty research presentations as well as student research presentations.
Last year, UW-Superior economics major Saroj Dhital presented his Senior Year Experience research paper at the conference. He is now pursuing a doctorate degree in economics at Washington University in St. Louis.
