Hundreds of community members and students turned out Saturday, Nov. 13, for the annual Cultural Night global feast and cultural show presented by international students at UW-Superior. This year's theme was "Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges."

Cultural Night is a long-standing tradition in which these international students bring together people from the community and the campus for an evening of entertainment and a celebration of cultures.

"Cultural Night shows how different and yet similar we all are.  We all embrace the same things . . . [and] find a common group.  It shows how we're united in the campus with interest and appreciation for cultures," said Daisy-Ree Quaker, public relations director for the World Student Association. 

This year 185 students from 32 countries in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa are attending UW-Superior.
