The World Student Association (WSA) is the biggest student organization at UW-Superior. WSA has the mission to promote global diversity and inclusion on campus and host events with this purpose. The most noted annual event is Cultural Night, held in November, a night of international cuisine, performances, and fashion.
Each year, WSA does numerous activities:
WSA Meetings
An excursion to the Mall of America, the biggest shopping center in the United States, just two hours away.
A ski trip to Spirit Mountain, the biggest ski slope in the Minnesota/Wisconsin region just 15 minutes from UW-Superior campus.
Canoeing or whitewater rafting along local lakes and rivers.
A Saturday trip to ValleyFair Amusement Park. (Pictures)
Fall Welcome Picnic, Spring Welcome Pizza Party.
Sports Culture Nights, where you can try sports and activities from different countries.
Ethnic Cuisine Cooking Demonstrations.
Cultural Movie Night.
Hosted transportation to the Festival of Nations in St. Paul.
