Getting to UW-Superior

When making your travel arrangements, please note that the nearest airport is the Duluth (Minnesota) International Airport (Airport Code: DLH), which is approximately ten miles (15 kilometers) from the UW-Superior campus. Delta and United Airlines are the major airlines serving the Duluth airport, and most flights to Duluth originate in Minneapolis (Airport Code: MSP), Detroit (Airport Code: DTW) or Chicago (Airport Code: ORD).

Airport Pickup Service

We will be happy to welcome you at the Duluth (Minnesota) International Airport and bring you to campus if you send us your complete travel itinerary (including flight numbers) a minimum of one week in advance. Note that this service is only provided for flight arrivals at the Duluth airport and it is provided at no charge.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not plan to end your flight in Minneapolis (150 miles/240 km south of Superior/Duluth), unless you plan to make your own arrangements for getting to campus. At this point, the best option for that is the Minneapolis-Duluth Skyline Shuttle (www.skylineshuttle.com). If you are arriving by the Skyline Shuttle, we will pick you up if you let us know a minimum of one week in advance. Please arrange to be dropped off at the Duluth-Radisson Hotel.

Please contact us at international@uwsuper.edu as soon as you know your travel plans/itinerary.
