UW-Superior students, staff and alumni are invited to participate in the 24th Annual MLK Holiday Day events on January 20, 2014.

UW-Superior students and staff carry the UW-Superior banner through the streets of downtown Duluth during the Martin Luther King, Jr. March in honor of Dr. King and everyone who has and still does strives for an inclusive and equitable society.

You are all invited to participate and attend the 24th Annual Twin Ports Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Breakfast, March and Rally on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014. This is a community event that UW-Superior has attended and been involved in for the past 15 years. This year, the morning events will focus on the legacies of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Nelson Mandela.

2014 MLK Day Theme: Re-Imagine the Future!

Here is the schedule of events for January 20th:

Breakfast Program: (Holy Family Catholic Church - 2430 W. 3rd Street in Duluth, MN)

7 AM Registration and Free Breakfast

7:15 AM Local Program

8 AM Large Screen Broadcast of Donna Brazile's Speech from Minneapolis,MN.

March: (We would love to have students, staff members, and alumni who are willing to march with the UW-Superior banner)

**PLEASE inform Ivy Vainio if you are planning to attend this and help represent UW-Superior in the March.

10:45 AM Gather outside of the Washington Center (Lake Ave and 4th Street West inDuluth)

11 AM March starts (walks to the Duluth Entertainment & Convention Center)

Rally:

11:45 AM Program begins at the DECC

1 PM Rally ends
