The first Diversity Leadership Retreat: Taking Leadership to the Next Level will be held Friday, January 28 - Sunday, January 30.

All University of Wisconsin-Superior students are invited to participate in the Diversity Leadership Retreat. This is an opportunity to explore the intersection of diversity and leadership, build community with student's leaders from different organizations across campus, broaden our horizons and comfort zones and self-respect on how to be change agents on campus and in our communities.

Workshops, discussions and activities will take place in both large and small group sessions. Students will be encouraged to openly share their thoughts and feelings in a safe and welcoming environment.

Who: The retreat is open to ALL UW-Superior students who want to develop leadership qualities in areas of inclusive excellence. Space is limited to the first 27 students who register.

Where and When: The retreat will take place at the Amnicon Retreat Center from Friday, January 28 to Sunday, January 30.

Transportation and Food: Group transportation will be provided to the retreat center at 5 p.m. Friday, January 28, and will return to campus at noon Sunday, January 30. All participants are expected to ride the bus and participate in the entire two-day session. Meals will be provided.

Cost: The cost of the retreat is FREE! However, if you register to participate and are a no-show, you will be charged the per person cost of the retreat.

How do I register: Registration will be from November 18 - December 1. Applications can be found in the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Old Main 230. The first 27 students who complete and turn in the application will have a space reserved for the weekend. Students who submit applications after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list.
