Hometown: Esko, Minnesota

Department or Office: Athletics, MWC 2416

Where did you attend college, grad school, and/or doctoral school: I attended Vermilion Community College, Ely, MN, received AA Degree, then went onto graduate with a BS from UMD with a double degree in life and broad area science, along with a coaching certificate, Duluth, MN, and received my Masters in Instruction from UW-Superior.

List what classes you teach? Here I only teach HHP volleyball classes, but I have taught Biology labs, Geology, and Health sciences while at Vermilion as a coach/instructor. I also serve as the Assistant Athletic Director here at UWS, and assist with NCAA eligibility with all of the student-athletes on campus.

In one sentence what is your advice for students to be successful? Believe that you can do whatever you set your goals to be, if you work hard, all things are possible!

What is your favorite book? This is a tough one, as I like most books I read!

One fun fact about you: I love the outdoors, and spending time on the lake in the summer fishing with my family. This summer, we got into the 1.5-2 pound crappies, and had a blast fishing some of our "secret" spots.
