Year: Junior

Major/Minor: Double Majoring in Media communications and Legal Studies.

What drew you to UW-Superior?: Two cousins graduated from this university.

What student organizations/extracurricular activities are you planning to be a part of?: I am the president of Black Student Union and am a member of World Student Association. I am involved with the Office of Multicultural Affairs programming and I plan on joining the Pre-Law Society.

What are you looking forward to most during this upcoming year?: I want to be more involved in almost EVERYTHING! And I want to make more friends from different cultures....simply put, I want a great Year!

In one sentence, what is your advice to your peers about succeeding in college?: Do not procrastinate!! Try to do everything on time and make time out to do other things like hanging out, partying, shopping...finding the right balance is highly important.

One "Fun Fact" about you: I love to dance, get my hair and make-up done...Oh before I forget, I love Shopping!!!!

What student organizations/extracurricular activities are you a part of/ planning to be a part of?: I am the treasurer for the World Student Association.

What are you looking forward to most during this upcoming year?: Making more friends.

In one sentence, what is your advice to your peers about succeeding in college?: School is not the only thing we should pay attention to, get involved is also important.

In one or two sentences give us on "fun fact" about you: I like eating bitter food, sometimes.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs is incredibly excited to announce our new "Student Spotlight" program. We will spotlight both new and/or returning UW-Superior students each week throughout the academic year. We will spotlight these students on our office website, Facebook page, and student/staff digests.

UW-Superior students are the reason we are here and we truly want students to be successful. The Student Spotlight will help students to connect to various faculty, staff, students, and programs on this campus and vice versa. Having these connections will help students become successful.
