Are you a Freshman or a Transfer student?: New Student - Youth Options (high school senior- high school pays for me to attend here {class of 2013})

Major/Minor: Elementary Education minor- Early Childhood Education

What drew you to UW-Superior?: Small school; small class sizes; Close to home

What student organizations/extracurricular activities are you planning to be a part of?: Next year I would like to be part of colleges against cancer and possibly YAC

What are you looking forward to most during this upcoming year?: Being involved and meeting more people!

In one or two sentences give us one "Fun Fact" about you, ie. this could be a hobby, etc: I am one of the most shy people you will ever meet! Once I know people I am super easy to talk to and pretty good at giving advice.

What drew you to UW-Superior?: It was definitely not the cold. It was affordable and I knew a friend here.

What student organizations/extracurricular activities are you a part of and/or planning to be a part of?: I am in the Pre-Med Club and Students of Science.

What are you looking forward to most during this upcoming year?: I am looking forward to graduating not because I want to leave UWS, I love it here but I am ready for the next phase of my life.

In one sentence, what is your advice to your peers about succeeding in college?: Don't miss class, take notes and study hard.

One "Fun Fact" about you: One fun fact about you would be that I am in love (almost to the point of obsession) with Korean, Japanese or Taiwanese television dramas.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs is incredibly excited to announce our new "Student Spotlight" program. We will spotlight both new and/or returning UW-Superior students each week throughout the academic year. We will spotlight these students on our office website, Facebook page, and student/staff digests.

UW-Superior students are the reason we are here and we truly want students to be successful. The Student Spotlight will help students to connect to various faculty, staff, students, and programs on this campus and vice versa. Having these connections will help students become successful.
