Major/Minor: Double major in Economics and Political Science - American Concentration

What drew you to UW-Superior?: Close to home and small class sizes made me stay.

What student organizations/extracurricular activities are you a part of and/or planning to be a part of?: I am currently a Student Senator representing business students and teacher education students, Vice President of Stimulus Club/Omicron Delta Epsilon Club, Vice President of Political Science Association, mentor for American Indian College Student For a Day Program, and lots of other activities! I want to get more involved with local economic development on the city/regional level.

What are you looking forward to most during this upcoming year?: Graduating in the fall! I'm also looking forward to going to Kentucky in April to present my McNair research!

In one sentence, what is your advice to your peers about succeeding in college?: Explore student organizations and enjoy your gen. eds! They helped me decide my double major.

One "Fun Fact" about you?: I hope to travel to Argentina someday and learn Spanish!

What drew you to UW-Superior?: The friendly atmosphere and campus community, as well as the caring staff and faculty.

What student organizations/extracurricular activities are you planning to be a part of?: Multicultural Affairs and Superior Adventures - Brule River!

What are you looking forward to the most during this upcoming year?: Learning as much as I can and preparing to go into the professional world.

In one sentence, what is your advice to your peers about succeeding in college?: Take advantage of college, meet all the people you can, go to all of the events you can, and learn as much as you can!

One "Fun Fact" about you: I love snakes! Snakes are my favorite animal and I own a bright orange snake.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs is incredibly excited to announce the "Student Spotlight" program. We will spotlight both new and/or returning UW-Superior students each week throughout the academic year. We will spotlight these students on our office website, Facebook page, and student/staff digests.

UW-Superior students are the reason we are here and we truly want students to be successful. The Student Spotlight will help students to connect to various faculty, staff, students, and programs on this campus and vice-versa. Having these connections will help students become successful.
