Local and state printers are under contract to print quality publications for the university. University Relations is charged with ensuring that printing is ordered according to state regulations, university standards and the marketing needs of the campus.
The graphic artist, Ellen Fure, also may assist you in setting up catalogs, brochures, event programs, fliers and posters. These require more time and planning. To initiate a larger project, please fill out a Printing Assistance Request Form and a Purchase Requisition and submit them to Ellen Fure in Old Main 237. No projects will be scheduled to be created without financial approval in place.
Print jobs that go out to vendors require a minimum of 15 work days to complete. Large projects, special set-ups and assistance with graphics, writing or photography require more time. Please plan accordingly. For shorter, low to medium quality jobs, consult the Guide to University Printing.
When creating your own publications, consult the Visual Identity System for logo regulations, color suggestions and typography guides. Standard word processing programs contain a wealth of publication templates to help you set up standard brochures, posters and cards..
University Relations maintains a stock of photographs that may be used for your publications or new photographs may be shot, given advance notice. Consult Al Miller with your request.
