Harry Anderson is the Acting Director of Campus Recreation and is responsible for providing the primary leadership and oversight for the programming coordinated by the units within Campus Recreation. He also directly oversees the Intramural Program and the facility based needs of the MarcovichWellness Center.
Harry is a native of Superior, alum of UW-Superior, and earned his master's degree in leadership from the University of Mary. Harry joined the UW-Superior staff in 2008 as the Intramural Coordinator. Prior to his work with UW-Superior, Harry spent several years working for the Northland Chapterof the American Red Cross.
Harry is always trying to enhance the student experience here at UW-Superior. He has a passion for working with students and takes the time get to know them. He challenges them to move forward in their intellectual, personal, and professional development.
In the fall of 2012, Harry was honored with a Spirit of Superior for his work on campus. This award is given to individuals who actively demonstrate & model on a daily and consistent basis the values of UW-Superior and who, as a result, are making a difference in the campus climate and the lives of those who work and study on campus.
When not at work, you will find Harry trail running, mountain biking, hiking, spending time with his family, or traveling the world.
