Group Fitness

Looking to get in shape this semester? Need a little extra support to lose those pounds and tone those abs? UW-Superior offers wellness programs for students, faculty and staff to Bee Fit.

 

Spring 2015 Fitness Class Schedule

Classes are free of charge for registered students and MWC members. 

Fall Semester: Mon., Sept. 8 to Fri., Dec. 12

Spring Semester: Mon., Jan. 26 to Fri., May 8

Personal Trainers

Orientation Program

  • FREE of charge to all MWC members or interested members!
  • Come during the designated times or sign up for an individual orientation with a Personal Trainer.
  • Walk through the building and find out everything the MWC has to offer to you.

Fitness Assessments

  • $15 for assessment/$25 for assessment and program development assistance
  • Assesses body composition, flexibility, cardio, and strength

The first step is to fill out and hand in a Fitness Assessment Packet. Packets are available at the MWC Welcome Desk.

A Personal Trainer will then contact you. Payment is due upon first meeting with your Personal Trainer.

Program Developmentbuffbuzz

Our personal trainers can design a fitness program to help you meet your personal goals, whether it's losing weight or training for a marathon. A fitness assessment is required prior to Program Development. Our personal trainers will help ensure that you are exercising properly and answer any questions you may have. Sessions must be used within one year of the initial purchase and are non-transferable. 

Individual Sessions

  • 1 Session $20
  • 5 Sessions $75
  • 10 Sessions $120

Partner Sessions

  • 1 Session $30
  • 5 Sessions $115
  • 10 Sessions $180

Seminars

We also hold a variety of wellness seminars and events throughout the year. Don't miss the Health and Wellness Fair or our Body Challenge to help you be fit. In addition to special events, we host a variety of seminars throughout the year on topics ranging from living a heart healthy lifestyle to appropriate portion control.

American Red Cross

The Marcovich Wellness Center is an American Red Cross Host Facility. 

Certifications offered include:

  • First Aid
  • CPR/AED
  • Lifeguarding
  • Water Safety Instruction
