Campus Recreation is excited to offer this fabulous opportunity to challenge you to bike to work and bike for exercise during our summer months in Superior!
We are very excited to announce the 2012 Get Up & Ride National Bike Challenge. Kimberly-Clark has partnered with The League of American Bicyclists, Bikes Belong and Endomondo to offer the Get Up & Ride National Bike Challenge in 2012.
The Challenge will run from May 1 until August 31, 2012.
To quickly get up to speed with how the Challenge works, watch this short clip, http://youtu.be/Ogup1v9cnzs
The National Bike Challenge is an exciting new program to encourage people to bike for transportation and recreation.
Participating in the Challenge is an opportunity to ride and compete for prizes and awards with organizations and riders both locally and all across the USA. We are putting out a challenge to LSC, WITC, UMD, and CSS to see if we can increase the number of bikers in the Twin Ports area.
You can register as an Individual OR join the UW-Superior Yellowjackets Team www.endomondo.com/registration/organizations. After registration, a confirmation page will automatically appear with a link for you to join the Challenge. Next you will receive a Welcome e-mail at the e-mail address you used to register your organization. Take a few moments to review the other links and opportunities to read up on the benefits of biking and other links associated with the page!
The entire program is logged online, so there is no need to sign any paperwork or log your miles other than on the website! It's easy, fun, and worth the time to see what UW-Superior can do.
