Do you want to learn the basics of Sea Kayaking but don't want to do it Lake Superior? Well here is your opportunity to learn about sea kayaking in the comfort of our own indoor pool in the MWC.

This event is for anyone who wants to learn about sea kayaking and will give you an opportunity to rent our sea kayaks in the future. We will start at the very beginning so you don't need to have any experience or knowledge. You will learn kayak nomenclature, how to correctly enter and exit a kayak, how to wet exit when you capsize, and some basic paddle strokes. If times permits we will even go over some basic rescue skills.

If you would like to learn to do an eskimo roll, please attend this intro course first.  The eskimo rolling and rescue clinics are offered on February 18th and 25th from 7:00 - 9:00pm.
