Registration Information

Cancellation of Registration
If you have registered and decide not to return to UW-Superior, you may cancel your registration before the semester begins by completing the "Cancellation Form" located in the back of this class schedule. Return the completed form to the Registrar's Office prior to the beginning of the term.

Withdrawal from the University
Students who register and decide not to attend before classes start must complete an official "Registration Cancellation" card available in the Registrar's Office, Main 139, by Friday, January 20 for spring Semester and by Friday, May 14 for Summer College. Students may also go on-line to drop all their courses prior to the first day of the term. Students withdrawing from courses after classes begin must complete an "Official Withdrawal Card" which may be obtained in the Registrar's Office. If a withdrawal card is turned in to the Registrar's Office before the last day to drop classes, no grades will be recorded on the student's record. If the withdrawal card is turned in after the last day to drop that class a grade of "W" will be recorded if the student is passing at the time of withdrawal, or a grade of "WF" will be recorded if the student is failing at the time of withdrawal. A withdrawal fee of $50 will be charged to all students who withdraw after the semester begins and during the refund period. Students who are deregistered for non payment of fees after the semester begins will be charged the $50 withdrawal fee. Students cannot withdraw from school after final examinations have started. Withdrawal from the University is not official until the completed withdrawal card is on file in the Registrar's Office.
