Daily Tasks

Daily Tasks Completed:

Remove all public space trash (lounges.. bathrooms.. lobbies.. laundry room.. kitchen.. tutor rooms.. computer labs)

Sweep stairwells

Clean all drinking fountains and sinks (on floors as well as kitchens/basements)

Sweep and mop kitchen

Sweep laundry room

Sweep computer lab and recycle any paper

Clean detergent residue in laundry room

Three Times/Week (suggested M/W/F)

3 Times/Week Tasks Completed:

Mop stairwells

Vacuum all hallways and public carpeted spaces (basements.. computer labs.. tutor rooms.. etc) OR as needed

Clean and wash the bowl/barrel of washing machines (clear of laundry detergent.. dust.. etc)

Dusting of door jams.. hallway vents.. bathroom vents.. horizontal surfaces.. and furniture in public spaces

Wash/wipe all lounge and public space furniture (lounges.. basements.. tutor rooms.. lobbies.. etc)

Wash windows and push bars of all entrance/exit doors

Wash stairwell railings (all)

Wipe down counters and mirrors in all bathrooms

Two Times/Week (suggested W and SAT)

2 Times/Week Tasks Completed:

Check and replace toilet paper stock in every stall/bathroom

Check and replace paper tower stock in every bathroom

Check and replace soap in every bathroom

Wash lobby/lounge (and other internal building) windows (inside only)

Pick up trash outside hall/adjacent to the hall (including courtyards.. volleyball courts.. parking lots.. etc)

Wipe down both sides of all interior stairwell doors

One Time/Week

1 Time/Week Tasks Completed:

Remove cushions and vaccum all public furniture

Wipe down all rubber baseboards in all hallways

Wipe down wooden chair rail (Ostrander only) on floors

View fire extinguisher/hose corral and remove any garbage.. wipe down surface.. etc.

Wipe down internal window ledges on floors and basements (not tracks.. just ledges)

Wash all stairwell walls

Shake out runner rugs

As Needed

As Needed Tasks Completed:

When there is a complete ground covering of snow.. shovel all entrances.. sidewalks leading to hall.. parking lot.. etc.

Lightly salt areas that have been shoveled

Sweep sidewalks clear of leaves/grass clippings

When there are major rain/snow/wind.. make sure all public space windows are closed and locked
