ARC Weeks are right around the corner in the res hall at UW-Superior. ARC Week (named after the ARCs--Academic Resource Coordinators) feature academic and educational programs that occur in each one of the halls through the semester.
The Academic Resource Coordinator team is a group of five undergraduate students throughout the three halls that are dedicated to providing individual and group assistance to peer students around academic skill building and educational experiences.
Curran-McNeill-Ostrander Hall: Febraury 17th-21st Job Searching 101
Ross/Hawkes Hall: February 24-28th on Health and Wellness
Crownhart Hall: March 10th-14th on Finances
What to Expect
Students in CMO Hall can expect to have programs put on by their ARCs Sapanna Putthayangkul and Zoe Scherer such as a panel on interview experiences, resumes, and job experiences by current Res Life staff. They are also bringing Career Services into the halls to talk about resume building and Jacket Jobs.
Students in Ross/Hawkes Hall can expect to have programs put on by their ARCs Brittney Berning and Abby Pittman such as a passport/stamp program for working out in the MWC, healthy snacking alternatives, as well as possibly a yoga class.
