Grandma's Marathon Reservations

NOTE:  We cannot accept payment via American Express or Discover card.  Mastercard and Visa cards accepted ONLY.

 

Information:

  1. Cost for two nights is $145 (additional nights are $70 each). Friday night only rooms are available for $105. THESE PRICES ARE PER ROOM. ** Please select double (two beds) or single (one bed) on your registration to ensure adequate bed accommodations are made. Parking permit (one per room) will be given at check-in.
  2. Must pay in advance with a credit/debit card. This charge will be processed immediately and initial confirmation will be sent via email to confirm registration was received. A detailed room/hall assignment and driving directions will be sent in early June. 
  3. Any cancellations made on or before June 1 can be refunded the room cost less a $10 processing fee; payment is non-refundable after June 1.
  4. Buses will pick up marathon runners between 5:30 & 6:00 am. No bus for half-marathoners, they will need to find a ride to Duluth Arena where buses will be waiting.
  5. UW-Superior residence halls are smoke free.
  6. Pets are not allowed in our residence halls.

·Regular check-in: Friday, June 15, 2012 from 12:00 pm-12:00 am

·Race: Saturday, June 16, 2012

·Check out: Sunday, June 17, 2012 by 11:00 am or Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 12:00- 6:00 pm

Room and Hall Provisions:

Includes two single beds and bedding; one towel, washcloth, soap, and a drinking glass per adult. Telephones are not provided in the rooms.

Washroom facilities are residence hall style community restrooms. One kitchen is available for shared use. Coin operated laundry facilities are available in the basement.

Rooms are not air-conditioned; you may want to bring a small fan for your comfort. Wake up calls are not provided; an alarm clock may be helpful.

Bus Service:

Grandma's Marathon will provide a bus for the full marathon runners. They will be stopping sometime between 5:30-6:00 am in front of Curran-McNeill-Ostrander (CMO) Hall. You must have your race number visible to get on the bus. The half-marathon runners will need to find their own way to the Duluth Entertainment/Convention Center (DECC) where buses will take you to your starting line. Taxi cab information is available upon arrival. *This may change.  Verify bussing information via the Grandma's Marathon web site.
