SUMMER 2012 INFORMATION

Entire Summer Contract Information:

Students from spring semester living on-campus all summer will be placed in Ross Hall. This includes current Ross residents.

Crownhart residents will move to Ross Hall Wednesday, May 16 to Monday, May 21, 2012. CMO residents will move to Ross Hall Monday, May 21 to Sunday, May 27, 2012.  Those residents who will NOT be living on campus for the fall semester will be required to check out of Ross Hall on or before Saturday, August 12, 2012. Crownhart and CMO residents will transition back to their fall room sometime in early-mid August.

Short Term Student/Guest Contract Information:

Contracts must be received at least one week before your arrival on campus.

Ross Hall is available on a weekly or nightly basis.  Room assignments are made at the time of check-in and may change from week to week. All room assignments will be for single rooms (no roommates are assigned). If two people want to be roommates, they must both indicate each other on their contracts, and contract to stay the same dates. People paying the nightly rate must remove all belongings and turn in their keys each time they leave.

Those people who are not students or staying the entire summer should choose the guest housing option on the summer contract.

Payment:

Short-Term Students/Guests: Payments are due on arrival or after you have received your confirmation from our office indicating the amount due. Room keys will not be distributed until payment is made. Housing charges will continue as long as a resident is in possession of their room key. If you wish to pay by credit card, please include the appropriate information on your summer contract and we will direct charge your card. Credit card payments need to be processed at the Residence Life Office. 

Entire Summer Contracts: If you are paying for your room with Financial Aid, you are responsible to get the check over to the Residence Life Office to pay these fees.
***Check with Financial Aid about covering your summer housing fees; don't automatically assume it will. Payments need to be made in the Residence Life Office. Fees are due in full on or before July 1, 2012.

What To Bring:

All students must provide their own twin size bedding, toiletries, and towels. Please bring a fan for the time you will be in the halls. Telephones are not provided in the rooms.

Refrigerator Rental:

Refrigerators are available on a first-come, first-serve basis upon your arrival, from the front desk. NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN ON REFRIGERATOR RENTALS.

Parking:

Permits may be purchased at the Campus Welcome Center.  Please visit their website for more information: http://www.uwsuper.edu/parking/.

Notes:

There is no smoking in any residence hall rooms; smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas outdoors; alcohol is not allowed in any public areas in the residence hall. There is a $40 fee for lost room keys and a $10 fee for lost fob (electronic keys for front door and bathrooms).
