DESIGNATED SMOKING AREAS

Barstow Hall - Planter area near Erlanson Hall Elevator Entrance.

Erlanson Hall - Near the planter at the Elevator Entrance or the bench near the base of the Old Main wheelchair ramp.

Marcovich Wellness Center - Outside the front canopy entrance or near the sidewalk leading to the South Parking Lot (Lot #13).

Holden Fine Arts Center - At the end of the walkway ramps.

Jim Dan Hill Library - Outside the Main Entrance near the retaining wall.

Old Main - The bench in front of the Main Entrance (facing The Yellowjacket Union) or at the bench near the base of the wheelchair ramp.

Yellowjacket Union - North of the circle drive entrance.

Swenson Hall - Near the steam pit between Swenson Hall and the Yellowjacket Union on the south side and out near Weeks Avenue on the West side.

Wessman Arena - Outside the main entrance near the marquee sign or on the south side of the building (during special events only).

Residence Hall's - At least 25 feet away from the building and at the appropriate cigarette butt collecting container areas.

Find a barrel that looks like this in one of these designated smoking areas.

You may legally smoke in that area on Campus Lands.

DO NOT PUT ANY CIGARETTE OR CIGAR BUTTS IN ANY OTHER LOCATION ON CAMPUS LANDS OTHER THAN IN THESE CONTAINERS.

INADVERTENT FIRES MAY BE CAUSED BY CARELESS DROPPING OF ANY LIT SMOKING MATERIALS ANYWHERE OTHER THAN IN THESE SPECIALLY PLACED BARRELS, ESPECIALLY ON WINDY DAYS!

Deposit only cigarette or cigar butts in these containers.

No trash please... as this may cause a fire inside!

If you should see one smoking heavily... please find a container to put water in, and then pour the water inside the barrel to douse the smoldering debris.
