The Small Business Development Center offers confidential, individual counseling services at no charge and low-cost training programs for owners and managers of small businesses and as well as entrepreneurs considering going into business.
Counseling covers a variety of business related areas including but, by far, not limited to: writing a business plan, buying or selling a business, marketing, accounting, managing personnel, and controlling costs. Through the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs' Network, SBDC counselors put you in touch with the people and resources you need.
Training Programs include: writing a business plan, First Steps to Starting Your Own Business, financial management, project management, various marketing topics and Franklin Covey's 7 Habits for Small Business Managers.
The Superior SBDC is a founder and facilitator of the Twin Ports Inventors & Entrepreneurs' Club, the Superior PeerSpectives CEO Roundtable, and a partner and champion of the Lake Superior Angel Network and the Lake Superior Chapter of the Wisconsin Innovation Network.
